Green Sea Turtle part 6
I thickened the kneck area shortened it also.
Blended in the bulging eyelids, and made the beak more narrow.
top view of carapace redisgn.
side view.
I recently shortened the flipper joints. Also shortened the kneck, and thickened it. The carapace was completely redisigned. i am going for a Green Sea Turtle.
I will post more pics as i continue to progress.
Time taken: so far i have spent 20 to 21 hours over a seven day period
Materials:
(1)old computer mouse as the base armature.
(2)sculpting tools.
(3)Clay NSP medium sulphur free plasteline
(4)wood skewer sticks.
Special Thanks to:
Carl Forsythe for giving me the clay and sculpting tools
What is next:
(1) detail head, make underbelly carapace, rear flipper details, smoothing , make coral reef sea weed base.
My Thoughts: i have decided to design it after a Green Sea Turtle. Unfortunately redesigning it for species accuracy has cost me alot of time. I prefer it be as accurate as possible. It may seem like im trying to achieve a illusionary perfection, but that is not the case i simply want it to be accurate !
